Dana & Dave were hit with a big ole rainstorm on their wedding day. Looking at the clouds, we were really excited about the tones and textures we’d get while photographing that day; though most brides and grooms (ok, mostly the brides) might think of it as a disaster. Luckily for us, as soon as we saw Dana, she was just gleaming in her hair and makeup, excited to jump into that dress and see her man and head down the aisle! (Rain, what rain!)
The wedding was at Knollwood Golf Course in Ancaster, which was a pleasure to get out of our wedding photography home base Toronto for a day. We had an awesome time with these guys, and the photos show it! Check out their album below and the rest of their images here.
Being Toronto based photographers, we love having the opportunity to shoot in the downtown core. You’d think that opportunity would come more often, but most of the time, we happen to be everywhere but downtown Toronto. Lucky for us, Adrienne and Josh picked the Design Exchange as their ceremony and reception venue, which really is in the middle of downtown Toronto. Originally the Design Exchange was home to the Toronto Stock Exchange so it was really cool that the ceremony and reception were held on the old trading floor. The venue was awesome giving us full range of the building and even allowing us to shoot in the museum amongst the interesting works of art. Getting married in November can be hit or miss in terms of weather, and it was definitely a cold and windy day so after a few cold outdoor shots, having the opportunity to use the whole inside of the building was perfect. We were thrilled to be working with Marsha Baker again, who is one of the best in the industry when it comes to wedding planning. Christine and Darren were married on November 9, 2013. It was a brisk Toronto day but we all stayed as warm as we could shooting the majority of photos in picturesque Kleinburg, Ontario. We started off the day with the boys getting ready at the Monte Carlo Inn hotel and then continued to shoot the ladies getting ready down the street at the Homewood Suites. Christine and Darren saw each other for the first time at the hotel and then all of us including the wedding party headed out to Kleinburg to shoot. The ceremony and reception was held at the Paradise Banquet Center with the most amazing blue up-lighting! It was a wedding that was full of amazing energy and that allowed us to capture awesome candid moments. Christine and Darren have known each other since they were 13 years old – so it was no wonder these two fit together like a glove. We couldn’t resist using a photo of Mikey and Kobe as the engagement shoot cover image – it just seemed fitting considering that Gwen and Russell met while walking their dogs at a park in North York. More importantly, their first date happened to be in High Park with the dogs too! So knowing how much their dogs mean to them and that this marriage is as much a marriage for them as their puppies – we just knew that this image would speak volumes.
Gwen & Russell will be married on Aug 9, 2014 at the Granite Brewery in Toronto. We had an amazing time shooting their engagement photos in High Park a perfect spot considering their first date and the fact that the fall leaves were at their peek.

We shoot alot at golf courses….but this is perhaps the first time we’ve actually shot a couple that actually golfs together! We photographed Laura and Preston at Don Valley Golf course in Toronto. Their wedding is in August and this wasa nice little warm up for all of us to get acquainted. Check out one of our favourite shots.
Kathryn & Onome’s wedding was held at The Island Yacht Club here in Toronto. It was a gorgeous day with beautiful fall colours; the clouds were foreboding rain, but not according to the ferryman’s radar app – he was more than certain we wouldn’t feel a drop…and he was right! The reception was a real treat (all pun intended) with a massive spread of homebaked pies for dessert. Awesome. Check out the album below (which we designed for one of our gorgeous flushmount album layouts) and visit their complete gallery here.
(and yes, if you are wondering, the Maid of Honour is in fact Canadian soccer awesomeness, Diana Matheson)
Hayley and Rob are dear friends of ours and it was an honour to be part of their wedding day in such a deep capacity. We had an astonishingly wonderful, magical time with them and all their guests (read: all our old friends we haven’t seen in a few years!) These two are gorgeous; we wish them the happiest of lives together. Although Little Blue Lemon specializes in wedding photography in Toronto, we also service outside areas, in this case, The Doctor’s House and McMichael Gallery in Kleinburg. Check out the album below and visit their online gallery here.
We are thrilled that Tanya & Dom’s wedding is now featured on the knot! We love when our couples get featured in amazing publications and websites. We shot at the beautiful Toronto Evergreen Brickworks as well as one of our favorite Toronto venues, the Grand Luxe. Check out their wedding here:

Nathalie and Bruce were married Nov 3, 2013 at Unionville Presbyterian Church. We then had the pleasure of shooting all the family, romantics and wedding party at Markham Museum. This was our first time on the grounds and man! was there a TON to work with! We had everything we could have asked for, from barn board to train tracks, beautiful sky and a crisp fall day. Not even the cold could deter these two from having an awesome time with their photos. The reception continued at Bellagio, complete with an electric guitar entrance to Motley Crue. A party not to be missed.
